The FUHR Overnight Lock provides a practical temporary security solution when an existing multipoint door lock has failed and the correct replacement mechanism is being sourced.

Designed to secure the door overnight or during the replacement period, this version features a 45mm backset and 292mm x 24mm faceplate with rounded ends.

Please note: The gearbox cannot be removed from this overnight lock for use as a replacement gearbox/case on a broken multipoint mechanism.

Operation

This is a lever-down operated overnight lock. The key or handle retracts the latch and deadbolt.

The handle does not lift upwards as it would on a conventional lift-lever multipoint locking system.

Reversible Latch

The latch can be reversed to suit the handing of the door. Undo the screw in the side of the lock case adjacent to the latch, remove the latch, reverse it, reinsert it and refit the screw.
